The Tanrıverdi family started cotton cultivation in the 1960s and ginning operations in 1974. They founded Lutuf Mensucat A.Ş., a raw cloth production facility, in 1987, and Ensar Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., an Open-End Yarn production facility, in 1994.
In 2001, they incorporated Arateks Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., a Ring Yarn production facility, into the group.
